Navillus has received several commissions from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Dean’s Office. These include beautiful solid Walnut chairs inspired by Donald Judd, CNC carved Corian table and desk tops, and a pair of enormous daybeds made of solid African Mahogany.

Navillus enlisted the help of Dock 6 partners zakrose and SAP for this massive project building all of the workstation desks, conference tables and storage units for their recently completed renovation of their Chicago Offices in the Santa Fe Building.

Navillus worked directly with the client and Mia Rao Design to realize beautiful custom pieces made from tropical hardwoods. Utilizing our CNC router, Navillus developed and carved custom patterns inspired by traditional Southeast Asian influences.

This trellis was a part of The Arts Club of Chicago’s current exhibition “Haegue Yang: Flat Works”.
Season 2 of Chicago-based restaurant drama features Franklin Dining Chairs, Stools, as well as Dining Tables designed by Navillus. Available for purchase through the Dock 6 Collection.
